Hey, I am Mayukhi Chacham, a design researcher with over 5+ years of experience in the design industry.
Being a passionate design researcher I dig deeper into the needs, wants, and motivations of users. I recently graduated from the Master of Design program at IIT's Institute of Design, where I expanded my design thinking mindset.
My expertise spans user research, digital design, visual identity systems, and design strategy. I thrive in environments that value ambition, curiosity, humility, and positivity.
Passionate about giving back to my community, I find joy in lending a hand and volunteering.
I not only immerse myself in dedicated research endeavors but also drive impactful advocacy initiatives with passion and purpose.

In 2022, I volunteered hands-on at the Free Store, gaining insights into Afghan refugee community needs. With my team, we crafted three proposals to enhance volunteer support for refugee resettlement in Chicago, presenting them to the RCC Board of Trustees for tangible improvements.
Extra Extra! Outside of design, I fuel my creativity with my hobbies.
Above's a glimpse of me harmonizing with the acapella group at FIT New York's enchanting Christmas Celebration. I also love to capture moments or stories—a visual journey in the making.
What started as a class project, I dove deep into video storytelling, crafting tales one frame at a time. Along the way, my passion extended to the world of 2D animations, allowing me to bring narratives to life through the art of animation.
